My Quarantine Experience Part 2 (School)

Let's talk about school and how I got to experience online school for the first time and well, to be honest, I don't like it at all. I was taking three classes this semester, with three different professors. I had a professor who would record his lessons following the powerpoints that he would make up for each week. Then I had a professor who would type up his lectures, and since most of his lectures are about what we need to read for class, after reading the assigned reading I would basically be
rereading it just in my professor's words. Only one of my professors used the whole zoom platform, it was my professor that didn't know how to work the internet, so you can imagine how that would look like, but if you cant let me paint a better picture for you. In general, when we actually went to school she would be a few minutes late and by a few, I mean 20-30 minutes late. Now you would think that because she was in her own home maybe she could be on time, well not to mention she also changed the class time so that it started later, a whole 45 minutes later. however, even adjusting the time to "her liking" still couldn't stop her from being late to her own class. So most of the time I sit prepared just looking at a screen for 10 minutes that said to wait for the host to start the meeting. Furthermore, her camera never worked so she never had her camera on, not that she needed to, however she made all of us keep ours on. To be honest, I would've rathered had the camera off so that I didn't feel I had to put any effort into how I looked, also not gonna lie I kind of wanted to be able to enjoy a nice glass of wine while in class since I can't actually do that when at school. But since she did make us have the camera on and loved to call on everyone randomly, I made sure t always have food or a drink at all times so that whenever I thought she was going to call on somebody Id just is all up in that camera like "look at me I'm eating, guess I can't answer your question." It may sound stupid, but boy did it get me out of answering questions I didn't want to.
My most favorite part however about all of this though was test-taking. I know it sounds weird, but it was basically as if every test was open book, and who doesn't like being able to find the answers right in front of you. As a person that is bad at test-taking most of the time, this right here was such a blessing. Its also probably one of the reasons I finished with an A and two B's.
Altogether the online process had a lot of ups and downs throughout, I got stressed out and to be honest, I cried... ALOT! I never realized how much I would actually want to be going to school until this very moment. I don't know if I'll be taking online classes ever again, but I feel that if I do I'll have a better understanding of how to do it right.
